Former child queen Elida was driven from her throne at age ten and forced to wander the galaxy, evading the revolutionary forces that wanted her dead. However, as each character is introduced the issue definitely piqued my interest and made me want to learn more about the characters and their story up until this point. As such, this first issue introduces Elida and her fellow characters with some familiarity but with enough of an introductory feel that it isn’t immediately noticeable that a full arc has already taken place.
